I’ve worked very hard to get my new blog up and running. It’s taken a lot more time than I thought it would, but here it is. The first edition of Southern Entertaining from Soup to Nuts! I’m so excited about being “back to work” writing on a daily basis. Albeit it isn’t writing novels, it is one of my first loves–entertaining and cooking.
For each event I’ve ever done during my past 43 years as “Richard Wilson’s wife,” I have a folder complete with every detail (good and bad) about the party/concert/event. I hope to lay out those details in a way that you might find interesting enough to try your own hand at them.
And, by the way, I say “Richard Wilson’s wife” because for probably the first 10 years we were married that is all I heard . . . “Oh, you’re Richard Wilson’s wife.” I would immediately acknowledge that fact followed by “My name is Dolores,” which would go over their heads faster than a Blue Angel jetting over. For the rest of that event I would be called a conglomerate of names like Doris, Lola, Laura, one time, Arnold. Most close, but no cigar.
